At 12, I took part in the FDA trial for the Melody transcatheter pulmonary valve, so I know what it’s like to be among the first patients a new therapy reaches.
Biventricular (Bi-V) pacing
I’ve lived with pacing since I was 11, through biventricular systems, epicardial and endocardial leads, a lead that shifted, and a leadless system today.
Congestive heart failure
I’ve lived with congestive heart failure since I was 11, including years of severe heart failure as an adult, and I know its day-to-day limits firsthand.
